The Game of Together How
In the format of a TV quiz show, The Game of Together How invites viewers to participate in a game that shows how individual life decisions impact climate change. Four players at a time are invited to each session and asked to answer various questions presented by fictional representatives of future organizations through the video monitors above the game table. Each player answers by selecting one of three given choices. Their choices are then immediately recorded by colored lights on a large scoreboard that emulates ENIAC, the first electronic computer (1945).
As more answers come in, these lights also reveal 48 dialectical phrases that have historical, political, social, economic, and cultural significance to climate change. Participants each receive a game card that can be stamped with dialectical phrases and kept as a souvenir.
The cumulative daily scores of all players are translated into numbers that represent the global CO2 level, temperature, sea level, refugees, population, water, and Gini coefficient. These numbers are then written on seven blackboards in 2086: Ecogram. The daily scores become a yearly record of climate changes so that viewers can see the evolution of the climate from 2023 to 2086, during the exhibition period.
