About
“Video Relay Taansan” is a video screening program  which started in 2012 to promote and share the video works of young artists. Unlike other visual works of arts, the video work field lacks network and screening chances for artists despite its long period in making the video.The objective of this program is to give open chances to the artists to make them provide their own opportunities of presenting their works in public space without any institutional authorities..
 
In corporation with Insa Art Space, the 2nd Video Relay Taansan is established by a relay program where preceding Artists (1st Video Relay Taansan Artists) invite the succeeding Artists to create a system of “artists after artist, and video after video”. After video screening, the artist’s live interviews and Q and A sections would be arranged. The refreshing energy of the artists in this program, like an exploding soda, is not to reveal the general work patterns of rising artists. The purpose of this program is to promote the fact that rising art are based on the motivations created by active exchange and support for each other and not by evaluation from other’s interpretations. Furthermore, Video Relay Taansan wishes to provide opportunity in excavating potential talents and to cultivate possibilities for upcoming opportunities.
