안성석은 광화문이라는 현대의 도시 공간과 과거를 재현하는 어가행렬(御駕行列)이 만들어내는 일종의 무대와도 같은 공간 속에 내재한 시간과 역사의 층위들을 다층적인 이미지의 층위들로 변형시켜 담아내고 있다.
Ahn Sungseok creates a stage-like space in which the contemporary space of Gwanghwmun and the past recapitulation of a royal carriage procession are juxtaposed. Through this, Ahn looks into what is contained in the layer of time and history, and this layer is transformed into multilayered images.
