월곡~산~여대

차지량은 월곡동에 존재하는 월곡산과 여대 건물, 고층아파트의 높이가 거의 같고, 서로를 가까이 바라볼 수 있는 거리에 존재하지만, 각 공간에 존재하는 인물들은 매일같이 서로를 응시하면서도 개입하지 않음을 보여준다. 월곡동이라는 공간이 보여주는 정체성은 서울이라는 거대 도시에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 낯설지 않은 풍경이며 우리가 살고 있는 도시의 정체성을 반영하는 거울이기도 하다.

Wolgok~Mountain~Women’s University

Cha pays special attention to the fact that Wolgok Mountain, the buildings of a women’s university and apartment buildings in Wolgokdong are all similar in height, stand near to each another and face one another without interfering with the other. The scenery of Wolgok-dong looks similar to that of other parts of Seoul and thus serves as the mirror of Seoul.
