은둔하는 세대의 디지털 캠프파이어_자체발광

기성세대가 만든 시스템과 사고구조 안에서 성장하는 젊은 세대들은 개성과 다양성을 드러내지 못한 채  각자의 은둔 공간을 형성하고, 그 안에서 타인과의 소통을 갈망하고 에너지를 소진한다. 차지량은 이들이 오프라인에서 함께 소통할 수 있도록 각자자신을 비출 수 있는 빛나는 오브제를 갖고 모이는 번개모임을 주선한다. 가상의 공간이 아닌 실제의 공간에서 만난 젊은 세대들은 그들만의 소통의 도구인 다양한 디지털 미디어들이 만들어내는 불빛만으로 디지털 캠프파이어를 만들고 그것을 통해 자신들을 밝히고 이야기한다.

Confined in the system and thought structure, the young generation builds a space of its own without revealing its uniqueness and diversity; they crave communication with others and exhaust their energy. Cha Ji-ryang has organized an offline flash mob event for youth to present ways of helping them communicate better. The youth effectively start a digital campfire, in an offline space, using a variety of digital media as tools for communication.
