“Statue Number”는 기념과 기록을 위한 도구인 ‘동상’이 실은 ‘사라지는 것’들을 위해 존재하는 것임을 보여준다. 영상은 전 세계 곳곳에서 발견한 동상과 그 배경을 촬영한 것으로, 동상의 배경이면서 동시에 동상이 바라보는 전경이기도 한 다양한 도시 풍경들은 점차 희미하게 사라지며 언젠가는 시간과 기억 속에서 사라질 대상임을 보여준다.

“Statue Number” shows that statues exist in the wake of things that ‘disappear’. The video clip captures statues with backdrops from around the world. The backdrops of various cities slowly fade away implying that those too are meant to disappear with time and be forgotten someday.
