이웃과 이웃을, 예술과 사회를 ‘잇는’ 미술을 의미하는 ‘보통미술 잇다’는 이웃 공동체 간의 건강한 연계성 형성의 새로운 가능성을 제안하는 공공미술 프로젝트 팀으로 주로 도시 안의 임대아파트를 중심으로 지역의 커뮤니티, 네트워크, 교육프로그램 등에 관심을 가지고 다양한 방식으로 프로젝트를 진행하고 있다.
‘오디션’은 부모님이 유일하게 남겨준 10평짜리 임대아파트에서 근근이 살아가며 댄스가수를 꿈꾸는 창욱이를 중심으로 임대아파트 이웃들의 이야기를 그린 작품으로, 실제 등촌동 임대아파트의 주민들이 배우와 스태프로 참여해 만든 ‘주민영화’이다. 척박한 도시와 그 속에서 살아가는 이웃들의 삶의 가치가 무엇인지 생각해보기를 제안하는 작품이다.

The ‘Public Art ITDA’, a public art project team that seeks fresh ways of linking a village to another village and art to society, runs its public art project mainly in urban areas with apartments for low-income families by utilizing educational programs and local networks and communities.
‘Audition’ is a story about Chang-uk, a man who lives a humble life in a tiny apartment, the only asset his parent left him, who dreams of becoming a dance singer. Some actual tenants of a low income apartment complex in Deungchon-dong participated in this video as actors, actresses and production staff. It is a video work that urges viewers to discover the meaning of life through depictions of those who have it rough in Seoul.
