공진화

공진화는 복수의 종이 서로 생존이나 번식에 영향을 미치면서 함께 진화하는 현상을 의미한다. 권아람은 단일하며 주체적인 존재로 여겨지는 ‘나’라는 존재가 실은 내면에 존재하는 수많은 ‘나’와의 공진화를 통해
생성되는 것임을 드러내고자 한다. 작가에게 공진화는 인간 이면의 무수한 기억의 조각들과 이변적인 요소들에 의해서 순간적으로 형성되는 존재를 의미한다.

Coevolution

Coevolution refers to a change in the genetic composition of one species in response to a genetic change in a related species. Kwon Ahram is interested in conveying that the ‘I’ considered to be a single autonomous being is in fact a being created through the coevolution of the ‘I’ and numerous other inner ‘selves’. To Kwon, coevolution refers to the state of being created momentarily by numerous memories and mutable elements.
