이 작업은 3편의 각기 다른 에피소드로 연결되어 있다. 첫 번째 에피소드는 인터넷에서 찾은 위성사진과 뉴스를 오버랩 한 것이다. 북한 어딘가에 있다는 핵공장을 찍은듯한 위성사진이 보이고 그 위로 김대중 대통령의 북한 방문 시 수행했던 남한 측 정부 요인들이 북한의 닭공장, 돼지공장을 방문하고 있는 내용이 남한의 TV로 생중계되고 있다. 두 번째 에피소드는 DMZ에서 발생한 우발적 산불에 대한 것인데, 이것을 남한이 끌지 북한이 끌지 아직 의문으로 남아있다. 세 번째 에피소드의 화면에는 일본에 기지를 두고 있는 미군의 최첨단 정보수집기계인 조기경보기 AWACS가 푸른 하늘을 배경으로 임무를 수행하고 있는 모습이 보이며, 그 위로 남한의 한 TV 프로그램인 “북한말 바로 알기”에서 ‘해빙기’라는 말의 다른 어휘구사에 대한 설명이 겹쳐지고 있다.

This work is composed of three different episodes. The first one is a satellite photo from the Internet overlapped with a news report. The picture shows a nuclear factory somewhere in North Korea, at which a TV broadcasts a live South Korean telecast of government officials accompanying Ex-President Kim Dae-jung who visits chicken and pig plants in North Korea. The second episode is about an accidental forest fire around the DMZ and there has been no decision made as to which side should extinguish it. On the screen of the third episode, a U.S.’s state-of-the-art radar-based electronic system designed to carry out airborne surveillance is conducting its duty against the blue sky, over which a South Korean TV program is overlapped. The program is about “Learning North Korea’s Language” and is explaining the meaning of ‘Haebinggi.’

남한에서 북한을 가장 가깝게 볼 수 있다는 애기봉 전망대를 중심으로 남한, 북한, 미국의 존재하고 있거나 존재했던 유사한 건축물들이 뒤틀린 시간의 축을 통해 서로 연결된다. 작가에 의해 여기저기서 수집되어 발췌된 불특정 다수의 에세이, 수기, 독후감 등이 각 건축물들과 감상적인 음악을 배경으로 건조하게 흐른다.

Centering on the Aegibong Observatory, which secures the clearest view of the North Korea, similar architectures that used to exist or currently exist in the South Korea, North Korea and U.S are connected to each other through the twisted axle of time. Essays, memos and impressions of books of unspecific majorities extracted everywhere by artist are flowing against every building, with emotional music.
