권아람은 성체와 성혈을 받아먹음으로써 죄의 사함을 받고자하는 카톨릭의 성체성사 의식에서 인간의 또다른 욕망을 읽어낸다. 성체성사를 위해 혀를 내민 인물들의 흔들리는 영상은 죄를 용서받고자 하면서도 끝없이 정신적, 육체적 욕망에 탐닉하는 인간 본성의 이면으로 읽혀진다.
