NODE
노드(NODE)는 줄기 마디를 뜻합니다. IT 용어로서는 데이터 회선이 상호 접속하는 점을 말합니다. 동숭동 1-117번지 건물은 1984년부터 30년간 예술인들의 꽃을 피우기 위한 화분이자 접점에 있는 공간 이었습니다. 그리고 이제, 이러한 모습을 뒤로하고 새로운 공간으로 다시 태어날 예정입니다.국내 문화예술의 향수가 어려있는 이 곳에서 <1-117NODE>전시를 통해 그 동안 이어온 문화예술의 정신이 영원하길 기원합니다.
저희 OFF OPNVVVV는 시간, 공간, 인간의 유기적 연결을 오픈소스 VVVV프로그램을 기반으로 이미지 매핑, 키네틱 및 피지컬 센서 등 다양한 뉴 미디어라는 도구와 함께 관객과의 단순한 체험을 넘어 울림을 전달하려 합니다.
The dictionary definition of 'NODE' generally means stem node. As the information technology term, it is often referred to as the point which can interconnect between data circuits. 1-117 Dongsoong-dong has been the space where there may become the primary point of contact to artists for the past 30 years since 1984. And this place is going to make a new leap forward at the end of this exhibition. The exhibition <1-117NODE> will long remember the spirit of cultural arts from the place which is always overlaid with artistic nostalgia.
OFF OPNVVVV group based on the multi-purpose tool 'VVVV' was born for the organic connection among the time, space and human being by using diverse new media something like an image mapping, kinetic and physical sensor, etc.
This project will be displayed to audiences for the new resonance beyond a simple experience.
