제13회 부산국제비디오아트페스티발 작품공모

부산국제비디오아트페스티발은 영상예술의 활성화를 위해 2004년부터 진행해온 행사로, 부산 대안공간 반디에 의해 2007년까지 개최되었고 이후 독립적인 단체로 출범하여 2014년 11회까지 개최되었습니다. 2017년 2년간의 공백을 끊고, 영상예술의 저변확대와 활성화를 목적으로 다시 진행하고 있습니다.

부산국제비디오아트페스티발은 작품 공모를 통해 실험적이고 창조적인 영상예술 작가들을 지원하며 영상예술의 저변을 넓히는데 목적이 있습니다. 공모를 통해 선정된 작품뿐만 아니라 전문적인 큐레이션을 통해 국내외 영상예술작품을 초청하여 상영함으로써 국내외 동시대 영상예술의 흐름과 지형을 파악할 수 있도록 전시를 구성하고자 합니다.

■ 공모 조건
- 단채널 비디오아트 작품
- 주제 및 형식 제한 없음
- 2015년부터 공모일까지 생산한 작품에 한함 (1인 2점 이내)
- 국가, 경력, 나이, 학력 등 무관

■ 지원내용
- 수상작 1-2편에 대해 창작지원금 100만원
- 메인 전시 상영 (전시 시 상영 형식 논의)

전시장소: 공간 힘 (부산시 수영구 수미로50번가길 3, 지하)
부산시립미술관 지하강당 (예정)

■ 선정 기준 및 발표
심사: 2-3인의 전문가로 구성된 심사위원의 심사
발표: 2018년 9월 초 예정, 홈페이지 및 SNS 공지 및 개별연락

■ 참고사항
제출한 영상파일은 심사와 전시상영의 목적으로 사용되며, 전시이후에는 파일을 삭제합니다.
기재 사항 중 허위사실이 밝혀질 경우 선정이 취소될 수 있습니다.

The 13th Busan International Video Art Festival
Announcementof Submission

Busan International Video Art Festival(BIVAF) has been held since 2004 for the purpose of revitalizing video-artfield. Having been held by “Ban-di”, an alternative space in Busan, from 2004to 2007, Busan International Video Art Festival was launched as an independent bodyin 2007, constantly holding the annual festival until 2014. Breaking a 2-yearperiod of blank in 2017, Busan International Video Art Festival has revived again,taking a significant role in enlarging and invigorating video art.
By conducting submission from all over theworld, Busan International Video Art Festival aims to support creative andexperimental video-art artists, as well as to expand the base for this field ofart. Furthermore, in order to grasp the latest trend of contemporary video artin and out of Korea, BIVAF is planning to organize exhibition not only with selectedworks, but also with works invited from professional curating procedure.
BIVAF are looking forward to lots of attentionand participation from artists.


■ Rulesand Regulation
- Video art works in the form of singlechannel
- No limitation in topic and form
- Works produced from 1 January, 2015 tothe date of deadline are ONLY accepted (Less than 2 pieces per person)
- No limitation in nationality, career,age, level of education of artists.

■ Supportinformation
-Creation-Support Fund amounting to KRW1,000,000 on 1 or 2 prize-winning works
-Selected works will be screened at mainexhibition.

■ Standards and Notification of Selection
- Selection of works will be conducted bythe panel of judges consisting of 2 or 3 professionals.
- The festival will notify the selectionresults to artists both by sending e-mail individually and by posting notice onfestival’s homepage and SNS in early September, 2018.

■ Additional Information
- The work files submitted are only used toconduct evaluation for selection and to be screened at the exhibition. Festivalwill delete the files as soon as the exhibition ends. The selection can beinvalidated if found any false information in the application form.
