<울음>은 정신치료 면담을 받고 있는 한 여성이 딸 문제를 상담하기 위해 딸과 함께 상담사를 방문해 대화를 나누는 장면의 녹음 기록이다. 그들간의 대화와 간혹 들려오는 울음 소리와 함께 보여지는 바람에 흔들리는 어둠 속의 풍경 이미지들은 대화 속에서 드러나는 그들의 무의식의 이미지처럼 읽혀진다.

Breaking into Tears is the record of a therapy session in which a mother who is receiving therapy visits a therapist’s office with her daughter to discuss issues concerning her daughter. The sound of crying coming out here and there, and the landscape scenes that shake by wind in the darkness are read as the representation of their unconsciousness that is revealed in their dialogue.
